This joint program covers one academic year and is subdivided into three terms. You will study at renowned universities in an international and stimulating setting. Finance Europe program. Our LL.M. Finance Europe program offers excellent interdisciplinary and practice-oriented training in the areas of European banking, securities and finance law.

While the 24-credit LLM in Banking & Financial Law can be completed in one year of full-time study, BU Law offers several other enrollment options based on your educational background, professional experience, and English proficiency, and location. With more than 25 courses offered, you can choose from a variety of classes and schedules that best suit your needs and interests. The Banking & Financial Law program offers the same challenging program of LLM studies in an entirely online format, an attractive alternative for domestic and internationally trained attorneys whose jobs preclude them from attending our traditional on-site program option in Boston. The online courses are taught by residential faculty and no distinction is made on a student’s transcript or diploma. The online graduates receive the same transcript and diploma as students in the residential program.

The LLM Banking and Debt Finance Online is an innovative, flexible programme that will provide you with an in-depth knowledge of Banking and Debt Finance in practice, including an ability to apply complex legal rules to real-world problems. You’ll have the opportunity to explore the regulation of banks with a focus on risk management and well as the relationship between banks and their customers under English Law.
