The Master of Arts in Serious Crime Investigation is a one-year, full-time program designed for graduates of the level 9 Postgraduate Diploma in Serious Crime Investigation, accredited by the University of Limerick or an equivalent program. The degree is ideally suited to members of an Garda Síochána who are looking to capitalize on their existing expertise in the field of modern policing and develop an advanced and integrated understanding of the legal issues which surround serious crime investigation.

Masters in Finance The program is the continuation of the Bachelor's degree programs in Finance, Accounting and Taxation, Economics and Management, Marketing, and other programs of economic orientation. The master's degree in Company and Business Law is an advanced program that provides specialized and multidisciplinary training to those wishing to become experts in commercial, civil, labour and tax aspects of the law as it relates to the operational activities of a company or business. It also provides an introduction to research activity that can be pursued further under the doctoral program in Law.

A candidate may be refused admission to a master’s degree by the relevant head of the department/Postgraduate Committee if he/she does not comply with the standard of competence in the subject as determined by the department – with the proviso that a candidate who does not comply with the required level of competence, may be admitted, provided that he/she completes additional study assignments and/or examinations.

A pass mark in the following modules is considered to be adequate knowledge. Anyone not meeting this expectation will only be considered for admission in exceptional circumstances.
